Red Eléctrica is awarded the Alares Foundation National Work-Life Balance Award

Red Eléctrica de España has been awarded the Alares National Award for Work-Life Balance, and for Social Responsibility in the "Large Company" category for the Company's outstanding performance and contribution over the years regarding the Work-Life Balance through its management model for continuous improvement.

Red Eléctrica has achieved this recognition as a result of its Red Concilia Project launched in 2008 with the aim of comprehensively responding to Work-Life Balance needs by means of a dynamic management and continuous improvement process. This programme undertakes the mission of proposing, reviewing, adapting and certifying the Work-Life Balance measures and practices, as well as designing a comprehensive plan that serves as the corporate guidelines for the implementation and improvement of these practices in the short, medium and long term.

The sixth edition of these awards brought together more than 400 nominations across ten categories and which have been evaluated based on the effort that the organisations and professionals carry out regarding Work-Life Balance matters with the aim of achieving a better quality of life for the employees and improving business competitiveness.

This award, along with other distintions awarded to the Company, such as the EFR Certificate (Family Responsible Company) granted by the Másfamilia Foundation and the Equality seal awarded by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, help to drive the commitment of Red Eléctrica regarding equality and the Work-Life Balance. This commitment is made possible through the use of management tools regarding social measures that provide added value concerning corporate quality, foster improved productivity, increased performance and equal opportunities regarding professional development.

The Alares Foundation aims to contribute to balancing, under the principles of solidarity and from an institutional point of view, the demands concerning social protection and welfare of citizens by encouraging and collaborating on initiatives that respond to the new social and business needs.
