Red Eléctrica collaborates on the reintroduction of the Lesser Kestrel in Ayora
The Director General for the Environment of the Community of Valencia, Salomé Pradas, the Mayor of Ayora, José Vicente Anaya, and Red Eléctrica’s regional delegate for the Eastern Zone, Maite Vela, have taken part in the release of 34 Lesser Kestrel fledglings in the El Regajo de Ayora area. All the fledglings were born in captivity and subsequently are reintroduced into the places where historically they were present, as is the case of Ayora. The method used is that of rearing in the wild, housing the fledglings in the elevated hacking cages that Red Eléctrica de España has donated to the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Environment of the government of Valencia.
