The Deputy Delegate of the Government in Zamora, Clara San Damián, visited the 220 kV substation that Red Eléctrica de España has in the municipal area of Valcabado, accompanied by officers of the Guardia Civil and the National Police and by those responsible for the Civil Protection Unit of the Government’s Deputy Delegate, together with the Mayor of Valcabado. Ignacio Fernández, Regional Delegate for Red Eléctrica de España, along with technicians from the Northwestern Regional Office explained to those present the main features of the substation with the aim to establish collaboration protocols regarding security and civil protection against possible contingencies.
