New maximum for summer electricity demand registered at 41,127 MW

For a second consecutive day, the instantaneous demand for electrical energy on the Spanish Peninsula registered a new maximum, setting the new record at 41,127 MW, at 13:19. This figure surpasses the previous maximum, 40,806 MW, registered yesterday.

This new maximum of instantaneous demand, 41,127 MW, was covered by means of the following generation technologies

Also, a new maximum of hourly energy demand was reached today between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. setting the new record at 40,806 MWh.
