Red Eléctrica has today organised an informative session in Madrid to present the results of the Twenties project, a pioneering European initiative regarding R&D+i, which has confirmed the viability of new technologies for the greater integration of wind energy into the electricity system. The Twenties initiative has had a budget of 57 million euros, of which 32 million has been funded by the European Commission under the Seventh Framework Programme for Research , Development and Demonstration.
