The Red Eléctrica Forest initiative contributes to the fight against climate change through the planting of trees and, at the same time, to the conservation of natural areas rich in biodiversity or the recovery of degraded areas. Via this project, in 2013 Red Eléctrica offset 39% of its direct CO2 emissions derived from its role.
