Daily wind power energy production hit a new all-time record on March 25, 2014, a day on which its contribution to the peninsular system reached 352,087 MWh, 2.1% above the previous high of 345,011 MWh, registered on 16 April 2013. Yesterday, wind energy represented 46.9% of total electricity generation on the Iberian peninsula.
