Recovery and dissemination of architectural heritage.
Red Eléctrica collaborates in the study and restoration of constructions of architectural value in Spain through programmes to showcase municipalities’ cultural heritage.
Red Eléctrica collaborated with Páramo de Boedo Town Council (Palencia) in 2018 on the restoration of the ornamental exterior lighting for the Romanesque church of San Lorenzo. This initiative is part of an overall renovation project for this construction of Romanesque heritage in Palencia from the end of the 12th century.
Dedicated to San Lorenzo, this church, sited on a low ridge, has been classed as Heritage of Cultural Interest and a Historic-Artistic Monument since 1966.
