Informative sessions on energy.

Red Eléctrica contributes to the dissemination of knowledge regarding the functioning of the electricity system by encouraging participation in conferences and training/informative sessions.

Red Eléctrica collaborated in June 2019 with the Institute of Gibraltar Field Studies in the first bioblitz – biological prospecting workshop – that this organisation performs.

The workshop took place in the International Bird Migration Centre (CIMA), in Tarifa, with the collaboration of the natural park of the Strait, Tarifa Town Council and the Migres Foundation.

Around 60 people took part and, in an area of 30 hectares, counted 493 different species of invertebrates, vertebrates and flora. The aim is to organise a workshop in a different place in the region each year to continue to identify the biodiversity in the area.
