Support for vulnerable groups.
Red Eléctrica collaborates with various non-profit organisations and entities to carry out social support actions targeted at various groups with specific needs.
Red Eléctrica collaborated in 2018 with the Exit Foundation in the “Coach” project, an initiative to combat premature school leaving and to promote an increase in youth employability. This project is focused on helping young people, between 16 and 19 years of age, who are socially vulnerable and at risk of failing at school, to work on their motivation to continue studying from the company’s perspective.
Six Red Eléctrica employees mentored the same number of young people, acting as a coach to help them define a personal-professional project and showing them the world of the company from the inside, with the aim of motivating them to continue their education and to develop new competences.
