New maximum for summer electricity demand
19/07/2010. The instantaneous demand for electrical energy registered a new maximum, setting the new record at 41,318 MW, at 13:26. This figure surpasses the previous maximum, 40,127 MW, registered on July 8. Due to the high temperatures expected for the next days new records are not discarded.
