Red Eléctrica considers stakeholders as the collectives or entities that are, or that may be, affected by the services or activities of the company and those whose opinions or decisions affect its economic results or its reputation. Red Eléctrica has identified and structured nine stakeholder groups directly related to its activity. Periodical interviews and satisfaction surveys are conducted with these interest groups in order to detect their needs and expectations. The suggestions received are analysed and a response given to the majority of them.
In addition to these specific communication channels, the company has put in place tools with which it seeks to strengthen relations with its different stakeholder groups: such as the dialogue platforms, the "DÍGAME" Stakeholder Attention Centre, "Stakeholder Ombudsman" (task assume by the Ethics manager), and the sustainability laboratory.
