Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes

Red Eléctrica joined the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes (DJSI) in 2005. Its rating in the 2011 financial year was 76 points out of 100 which brought it close to the sector's best performer who achieved a rating of 86.

Belonging to these indexes enhances Red Eléctrica's visibility with regard to its interest groups and its credit for the actions pursued in managing its reputation, social undertakings, sustainability and corporate responsibility. The DJSI indexes review corporate, environmental and financial management on the basis of more than fifty criteria of a general and specific nature for each sector.
