The Madrid Excelente quality mark is granted by the Community of Madrid to recognise and certify leading companies' commitment to management excellence. These are companies which are committed to innovation and constant improvement, to satisfying their customers and employees, and to making an active contribution towards social and economic development.
The benchmark model for achieving the Madrid Excelente quality mark comprises a series of requirements classified under three modules: Excellence, Corporate Responsibility and Consumer Trust. The Madrid Excelente mark is awarded to companies which, following a rigorous assessment process, have demonstrated their compliance with the requirements of this benchmark model.
