Daily breakdown of production and consumption of electrical energy in the Spanish peninsular system (forecast for current day and close of previous days). The new balance report provides a breakdown of the generation obtained from facilities included under the special regime (hydroelectric, wind, solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, renewable thermal and non-renewable thermal).
Additionally, it also includes detailed information regarding the net generation mix necessary to cover the demand. In the graphics the data is shown as a percentage of the total generation mix, the data presents both the generation obtained from renewable and non-renewable energy sources.
It also includes the electricity demand data after having taking into consideration temperature and industrial activity (factoring in the effects of seasonal and working patterns) as well as the maximum programmed power demand and registered daily energy.
The new data is available as of 1 January, 2010. As of that date, the data regarding the fuel associated to various coal plants has also been updated.
