Access and/or usage of this website (hereinafter "our website") attributes visitors the condition of user. The user accepts, immediately on access, all the usage conditions, both general and specific, with regards to the contents and/or services provided by our website.

2.1 Access to this site involves the prior reading by any user of the general conditions included herein. (hereinafter "the Conditions"). By accessing and using our site it is understood that the user confirms his acceptance, expressly, completely and without reservations, of its entire contents on access.
Should the user not agree with the Conditions, he shall refrain from accessing our site and/or operate through it. Red Eléctrica de España, S.A.U. (hereinafter "Red Eléctrica"), as owner of the site, reserves the right to modify these Conditions, notifying the users of such changes.
2.2 General access to our site is free and its viewing does not require any kind of subscription. Excluding, however, the services that expressly state the need for registration.
2.3 The user commits to access and use our site - the contents and/or services included - without contravening current legislation. Furthermore, the user commits to not use our site for illicit or damaging purposes against Red Eléctrica.
3. Conditions as registered user
In order to access certain services included in our site, users must become a registered user of www.ree.es. The data required in each Registration Form shall be provided by users voluntarily; the data provided must be accurate.
4. Personal data protection
The data provided by the users in each form shall become part of a file owned by Red Eléctrica. Red Eléctrica acquires the commitment to apply its Privacy Policy in this regard.
4.1 Privacy policy
- Anonymous browsing through web pages on our site
Red Eléctrica, as owner of the website www.ree.es only obtains and maintains the following information of visitors to our site:
a. The domain name of the service provider (ISP) and/or IP address that provides access to the net. This way Red Eléctrica prepares statistics on the countries and servers that visit our site most often.
b. The date and time of access to identify the times of most affluence and make precise adjustments to avoid saturation problems at peak times.
c. The Internet address that provided the link to our website. Thanks to this detail, we can identify the effectiveness of the various publicity formats and links that point to our site and encourage better results.
d. The number of daily visitors to each section, which allows us to identify the most successful areas as well as increase and improve their content.

a. Our website includes and provides links to content owned by third parties. Such links, not managed in any case by Red Eléctrica, are merely for information purposes. Our site www.ree.es uses cookies; small data files created on the user's computer. This does not mean we may read the data on the user's hard disk, nor can other cookies created by other service providers.
Cookies allow Red Eléctrica to store information such as the date and time the user last visited our website, content the user selected during his first visit, security elements involved in access control to our restricted areas or viewing of pages on our site. The only purpose is to facilitate basic management tasks of the site.

The interested party is entitled to access, rectify, oppose or cancel the data provided, notifying by certified post to Red Eléctrica de España, S.A.U., Paseo del Conde de los Gaitanes, 177, 28109 Alcobendas (Madrid) or using the option to modify your data on line using the service we provide. The data provided by the interested party shall not be transferred to third parties.
4.2 Specific user registration characteristics
The username and password can be freely selected by the user during any registration process and are personal and non-transferable. The user commits to protect such data taking the appropriate measures to avoid their loss, removal and/or disclosure to third parties as well as unauthorized usage. The user commits to perform appropriate use of such data being the only person responsible in the event of any illicit use or contrary to the Conditions, whichever is applicable.
5. Conditions regarding the content
5.1 Intellectual and industrial property
With regards to the content included in the pages on our website (hereinafter any information, text, graphics design, multimedia file, photograph, computer code, commercial names, brands, etc.), the user shall be aware they are property of Red Eléctrica - except in the event they belong to third parties - and, therefore, it is forbidden:

In the event of authorization by Red Eléctrica, users shall clearly and explicitly mention Red Eléctrica as a source of information.

5.2 Use of content
The content on our site is merely for informational purposes.
Red Eléctrica guarantees that all the content and/or services published on our site shall respect the principle of dignity of the person, the principle of non-discrimination for reasons of race, sex, religion, opinion, nationality, disability or any other personal and social circumstance, as well as the principle of protection of youth and infants.

3. The existence of viruses, programs harmful to the user's PC or the presence of viruses in the services provided by third parties through www.ree.es.
4. The illicit, negligent, fraudulent use or simply contrary to these Conditions.
5. The lack of rigour and quality, reliability, etc of the content / services provided by third parties and made available to users on www.ree.es.
6. Failure by third parties to fulfil the obligations or commitments assumed with Red Eléctrica with regards to the services provided and available to users in www.ree.es.
7. Duration
The duration of the services provided by the www.ree.es website is indefinite.
Red Eléctrica reserves the right, regardless of the above, to interrupt, suspend or terminate the provision of this service or any others included on the www.ree.es site.
8. Applicable Jurisdiction and Legislation
These Conditions shall be governed by the provisions in Spanish legislation.
In the event of any discrepancy or controversy with regards to the interpretation or application of these Conditions or the content of the website, in general, Red Eléctrica and the user, expressly relinquish to any other jurisdiction that may be applicable and shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid.
